Rules are rules, so:

1. The Right Stuff hair gel.
2. You should try doing design more often. I think you'd be good at it.
3. Salmon, since you're wearing it here.
4. I admire your honesty and willingness to speak your mind.
5. Clearest/haziest memory is probably trying to get back to your place after Jesse's New Year's Eve party. Boy, that was fun ...
6. (I'm bad with animals, so I don't think I'll be answering these.)
7. What do you love most about New York? What keeps you there?

2. I've never designed anything?
3. That's actually an orange.
5. Indeed, it was.
7. It's a visceral love/hate feeling. I feel like I belong here, and still have too many ties (which is not really good). I love bring away, and yet when I'm gone, I'll eventually get bored and think, "Hey, this place isn't New York."

2. You've designed a couple things. Possibly inadvertently. But I think you have, yes.
3. Whatever.
5. Yes.
7. I know what you mean. If I lived in New York, I'd probably feel the same way. That allows me to excuse you and the monkey for your NYC-centric ways.

1. You introduced me to Noodles and Co. For that, I salute you!
2. I challenge you to visit Redwood National Park one day. Oh, and the northern California coast. I think you'd really like it. (And San Francisco, if you haven't already been there.)
3. Forest green.
4. I like the way you're able to follow a funny story. I'm not exactly sure how to explain this, but you were a good listener and reacted at the appropriate spots. This is a compliment :)
5. Not that this is your fault, but I remember feeling slightly betrayed when I found out you weren't going to stay at Sonic Foundry during my internship there. It would have been a fun summer.
6. See my response to Aleja's comment above.
7. What's your favorite place in the world that you've been to? What do you think would be your new favorite place in the world that you've been meaning to go to?

1. Five Guys—the best burger in town.
2. I challenge you to go visit Bloomington again. (You've already been, right?) I think you'd really like it there.
3. Blue.
4. I like how quickly you got on the durrwagon :) Randy still thinks you're awesome for doing that.
5. This isn't exactly a memory, but I remember seeing you at the wedding and thinking, "Jess is really having a good time here! She seems to have taken a liking to this area." Which is good, 'cause I was worried you wouldn't like DC.
6. See my response to Aleja's comment above.
7. Can you see yourself being a meteorologist in the future?

I've never actually been to Indiana save for flying/possibly riding on a school tour bus through it. But I am generally a fan of college towns, yes.

And I had a blast in DC! I wanted to get home to see Charles, and I kind of got off to a slow start on Friday (I nearly stayed in my hotel room and sulked instead of going out to the Smithsonian, etc.), but as soon as I got home I wanted to go right back. It was excellent.

And if I ever get over my math phobia and get some student loans knocked down, yeah, I can see myself going into meteorology. It was what I always wanted to do when I was little (although my dad says the first thing I said I wanted to do when I was little was be a hairdresser and charge $1000 for a haircut because I'd be that good), and I'm sure you've noticed I'm a bit of an amateur weather nut.

Yeah, I vaguely remember you saying something about a tour ... possibly for choir or something?

I've found that I'm nearly always rewarded when I go out instead of sitting in a hotel room when I'm traveling. I'm glad you got out and toured the Mall area :)

I'm sort of an amateur weather nut, too. (Mostly hurricane stuff, but I'm starting to learn more about everyday weather, too.) We should talk shop sometime and trade knowledge!

1. Ongoing NetFlix battles with Aly and Matt (and regular lamentations that you will never catch Matt).
2. I challenge you to become Luxe for a second consecutive year!
3. Light green.
4. I'm impressed at how quickly you're able to teach yourself new things, and how disciplined you are about learning them. Except for that whole sleeping thing you tried and abandoned.
5. This is kind of embarrassing, but I remember meeting you at my interview and briefly noting that your shirt wasn't buttoned high enough. Scandalous!
6. See my response to Aleja's comment above.
7. Do you miss Taqueria el Poblano?

4. The sleeping thing was right out. But I'm doing the new crazy fad diet thing (but...I can't remember why).
5. Yeah, I had serious shirt problems. The trouble with having few male friends it that you have no one to say "Hey, he's wearing an undershirt and buttoning his shirt up higher" about. Curses.
7. Kinda. MU lunches were long and awesome; my new ones are short and uncomfortable.

1. Olives at Pizzeria Paradiso.
2. I challenge you to play volleyball sometime this summer. You can play volleyball, right? (If not, I'm willing to teach you!) OK, if this isn't going to work out, maybe we can just go grab some olives and talk about food phobias.
3. A light red.
4. You have nice hair! Also, you have a way of speaking that makes the listener feel as if they're going to get something really insightful with every sentence. (They usually do, I'd imagine.)
5. Some distant memory of meeting you in Bloomington w/ Imran. Perhaps in Forest?
6. See my response to Aleja's comment above.
7. Where do you see yourself living after you finish your doctorate?
